Summative Response Post

My current thesis is that charities that give a tangible reward back to the donor are more successful than those who don't. At the beginning of this process, however, my thesis was that art charity is an effective means of gain funds for a cause. I came to the conclusion that I was running out of sources for the art focused thesis, so I chose to expand. It seemed like a good idea, but I actually ending up far to narrow. I thought that if people would donate more for art, then maybe that would translate into other items, but I was then left with even fewer sources. I tried to find articles about the psychology of this exchange, but was unable. I understood the general idea that we live in a materialistic society, but I wanted to dig deeper. Realizing that the success of some charities and not others was a psychological process lead me to research on that topic, but did not produce any articles. There were no sources that really made me gain a deeper understanding, but they all told me that I needed to gain a deeper understanding. All the articles were very vague and getting me nowhere.
