I would imagine that the items would sell for more than many Americans could afford, but there is a possibility that it could be a highly successful event. It seems impractical for me to spend a lot of money on a certain article of clothing to me, but I'm sure that not all consumers share that view. I think that this woman understands that she can make a difference in the world a few dollars at a time. This is a valuable mindset for people running charities, so that frustration of small donations does not mount. This is a small scale operation, but $47 have been raised already. If every walmart in Canada did this, $11468 could be raised. And that would make a huge difference in someone's life. Small victories add up, but everyone needs to do their own small part to make it happen.
