First, I have to say that most of the articles you read sound like they don't relate to your topic if that topic is art being sold to go to charities. In one of your articles, the notes you took didn't even match the response. In your notes, you should try to put some other details in besides the statistics and times. I think it would be beneficial to have references to specific people and organizations and to check back on those organizations frequently.
Honestly, your responses confused me. In the first few, the sentences you wrote were random thoughts that i had a hard time connecting to the articles or even your topic. Since your topic is about art being sold for charities, then you should go into more depth about that besides just saying that art was sold. What kind of art? Where did this art come from? What kind of price tags were on those pieces of art? I liked the article about the children's drawings on totes fir charity. That article stayed on topic and added to my knowledge about how art is used in charities.
So far, I'm seeing some development, but you can do better. As i said, you should find specific organizations and follow them, and get more details about art for charities. An article that you feel like tells you nothing, and doesn't relate much to art at all shouldn't be used for this assignment because it will not help you develop your knowledge about the topic (as that is the goal of this whole blog assignment).
I'm not seeing any emerging connections among the articles. I'd like to know the different ways that art is used for charity, and how much money it raises for causes. Pictures of the art that you talk about would help illustrate the points in the articles and make the blog more fun to look at in whole.
You're articles are complete, but are hard to understand and don't develop the readers understanding very much. I find the font and color a little hard to read and focus on.
So, your blog needs a little bit of work, but i can see it can be successful if you find the right articles and information that teaches you and can teach others about how art is used for charities.

Amelia, very good work. You are on your way. As a whole, your blog showed me that you are interested in your project topic and where it is going.

Occasionally your notes were too brief; it would have been nice to get a bit more direct info. Most times, however, this was not a problem. Your responses were very clear about what the article did or didn't teach you, showing good insight. For the articles that were "vague", however, your articles were a bit vague as well. A suggestion might be to look for more specific articles, and try to avoid the vague ones. It is clear with the questions you ask in your responses that you want to learn about this, and that you are learning. There isn't a whole lot of, say, development from beginning to present, however. I think that by incorporating things you've already learned into each response, you could make this clearer.

As far as connections go, you don't give us in your responses a connection to look at, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Your blog as far as conventions goes is quite good. A typo or two here and there, but not at all significant. The dark purple can be a bit tough to read, so you might look at brightening it a bit. Posting CCC pics on your blog to show us what you are talking about would also be a nice touch.

Reading your blog entire blog, I'm still left a little confused about what your main focus is. Although, I thought it was really neat that you were able to have a personal connection with one of the charitable organizations. While I don't know much about art charities, my advice to you would be to stick with charitable organizations such as the one you wrote about in your last post. Because you have a personal experience related to the article, it made me think (while I was reading) that you were more knowledgeable in this area and would be able to make even stronger connections to other articles similar to the Hurricane Katrina organization. While I was reading your blog I was curious about the end result of the charities. What I mean by this is, how much have they been able to donate to their cause, and what are the effects of the funds. I would like to know also, from either your notes or your response, exactly what the charities do and what they are hoping to accomplish from their efforts. I did notice that you had quite a few charities that were donating to natural disasters or areas with a lot of poverty. I thought that was good because a theme seems to be developing. I'm interested in what your final presentation will be about, and how you'll be presenting it. I liked the color contrast on your blog, it was fun! Something else that I think would be neat to see on your blog are pictures of some of the art being sold at these charity events. It would add a lot to your blog and add a visual element for the reader to connect with. Over all, great blog, it was very interesting! I look forward to reading future posts!
